Now that the Genesis has it's own sub forum area in Classic Gaming like the Colecovision and Intelvision, how about the SNES? :)

Heck, if you're going to give all THOSE their area, I think the NES deserves one also. :ponder:

I knew someone was going to ask this. LOL. I am probably going to create sub-forums for all the major consoles and reorganize things a bit. Stay tuned. I have to see which ones we are missing. Certainly the NES deserves one if the SNES is going to get one. What others? :)

then what will go into the generic Classic Gaming category, if all major consoles have their own? I would request you stop at the timeline of SNES/Genesis - don't add Saturn or Playstation or Xbox cateogories, but let everything after SNES/Genesis go into "Classic Gaming". After all, there isn't much posted on them anyway. Just a suggestion...

I just think the 'major' systems would be helped by having their own sub area. Besides the Atari ones allready in place, I'd suggest the following sub areas:

NES
SNES
Genesis
Sega Master System (or lump this into the Gensis area)

And that's it. There's still tons of consoles and handhelds and portables that would go into Classic Gaming, taking care of the concern that Cafeman (and I'm sure others) have.

Thanks for the quick response, Al. :)

How about a classic Nintendo and a classic Sega forum instead of one for each individual console?

That's a good idea to keep the number of forums smaller and more manageable.

Make sure you put in a Game.com subforum in there to organize the huge amount of traffic generated by that awesome Gameboy-killer handheld.

I think that would certainly keep things the cleanest.
