Hi everyone,

My 23" x 35" printed Halo 2600 Source Code Poster finally arrived today. I had Cafe Press print it up (for only $20 bucks, too). It turned out great. Of course, I immediately ran to the store and got myself a frame to put it in.

Here are some pictures of the final framed poster on my wall, as well as a close up shot showing the detail. Sorry for the not-so-great image quality. The lighting in my house is not so great.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks

Was looking closely at the poster and noticed a couple of spacing issues. Most people wouldn't notice them, but they are bugging me. Figures I catch these after it's printed and framed!

Do you really mean spacing or the 'empty' rows of **** ?

Since I have the copy/code force justified in the space, some of the lines look nice and filled (e.g: "12345678") while others tend to get spaced out (e.g. "1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8"). I'd say 99% of the people who look at it wouldn't notice it, but I do. I've fixed the master file, so if Al decides to sell this in the store you'll be getting the good version :)

The asterisks, however, are actually part of the source code and I didn't want to remove them.

Ah, I see.
I was wondering already in fact.
But I only noticed it in some comment area and thought it was in fact separated with spaces ;-)
Anyway, it looks very nice and is a beautyful idea.
Also a wonderful christmas present. My fiance, are you reading this? ;-)

I really want a berzerk one!

This poster is amazing. I love it, it looks amazing, has a nerd factor to it, and its a huge poster of an Atari sprite. I love every little thing about it.

Thanks, guys. To date, I have done two: Halo 2600 and Berzerk. Like Grant said, I created the Berzerk one at his request :)

I am waiting to hear back from Al in regards to selling them through the AA store. They may be a smaller size, though (~ 18" x 24" as opposed to 23" x 35").

I'll keep you guys posted.

EDIT: Here's a link to the Berzerk Poster. Disregard the imagekind link in the thread. I never finished setting that up.
