-New system update coming in November that includes 3D video recording, 3DS to 3DS data transfer, and new StreetPass features.
-3D video recording is being added to the 3DS Camera app itself (it won't be a separate app). It can record up to 10 minutes of 3D video, and also does time-lapse videos and stop-motion animation (yes!).
-Rumors suggest that you can upload the videos straight to YouTube from your 3DS, but Nintendo never mentioned it.
-StreetPass Mii Plaza is also getting updated. A map of all your StreetPass Mii's will be added, as well as new puzzle pieces. Then there's Find Mii 2, which is unlocked after your beat the first one. It has branching paths this time (think Out Run), so the replay value has been improved.
-Hulu Plus is coming to the 3DS and Wii.
-SwapNote is a free app coming in December for the 3DS. It's basically a new version of PictoChat with online support. You can write 3D notes, add sound to them, and send them to your friends via SpotPass and StreetPass.
-Nintendo mentioned a few new eShop games they were publishing, as well as Kirby's Adventure and Kid Icarus being released as 3D Classics.
-Mario Kart 7 seems to have tons of online features. It includes a clan-like system where you create groups with your friends and set specific rule sets. Ghost data can be transfered via SpotPass and StreetPass, and you can race up to seven ghosts at one time.
My 3DS also happened to come back in the mail today (Thanks Nintendo!), so I'm pretty excited.
