Wow... I would definitely get some titles for no other reason than nostalgia, but no international shipping and no PayPal does it for me...

Still, impressive trove...

Thanks for offering these, but you should seriously reconsider the terms. Paypal and some sort of listing, even just a "here's what's up this week"
announcement (once a week say), would go a long ways to helping you move this stuff.

Until then, I'll put your post as is, on the For Sale Section of my BBS.

Thanks!

Love the photo shelves approach as opposed to the usual text list; feels like I am in a cosy little shop looking for gems!

Well, some of the titles are sorely missing from my collection, but as I need to have them shipped to Europe and I fear the only reasonably priced means of payment to the USA is PayPal... no deal.

Would suggest that you take Paypal, as far as Int'l sales the UK and Germany are safe to sell to, been selling from the USA to both countries for a few years via ebay and never a problem.

Just wanted to say I did order from this guy. I sent out a US Postal money order for the amount, got
2 games I didn't have, Bismark and Prince Of Persia. Both came as advertised, new in the box, one
still shrink-wrapped. He also threw in a free copy of Analog Computing. Nice touch.

I still wish he would setup payment by paypal. Would definitely increase his market.

Anyways, just thought I'd report my results with a purchase from him. I'm happy.

PS One game has a sticker on it that says "Buy 1 get 1 game free". So should I get
my money back on one or another game? :D

One suggestion that might help more more merchandise is to organize the games into pricing buckets and take a picture of whats available at a certain price - say $5, $10, $15, $20 buckets with pictures so folks can easily see whats available at a price they would want to pay.

Of course bulk discounts could apply - but Im not much into the haggle/offer thing. Most of this is worth $5-$10 at this point.

Buyers like purchase protection online (i.e. PayPal & Google Checkout offers that), and they like an organized listing of available merchandise (not mass item shots) to include some detail description. But, I guess you can keep on bumping this thread and wondering why people are not responding. Good luck.

Firedawg

Note - I did click on the pictures which did allow some up close shots of boxes and titles, so that does give more information than first thought. A least enough info to ask a question.

If you don't like the way I do business, don't buy from me. No problem. However their are plenty of people that find that it pays off to take the time to look, ask questions and ultimately do business with me in order to get what they want. I have no problem answering your questions and although their are those who don't believe me, but since I have started selling these items off (if you notice) I have had no complaints filed against me from ANY of the 60-75 people I have done business with. Only compliments. I run a different type of store these days and don't have the time to make lists, I have been in business for 30 years as a one man show and it would take to much time to compose lists. I have no problem dealing with the people I am dealing with and prefer to offer the best price I can with the least amount of aggravation.

My apologies to your efforts. Just sharing my consumer views. I'm glad you are making a good bit of sales from the software. I wish you continued good luck.

I see DarkLord successfully ordered a few items... Any one else?

Also, DarkLord, can you share the prices you paid for the games you got?

Argh, been a bit - I'm gonna guestimate, it was somewhere in the $50's,
with shipping and handling. Divide that up among 3 new games, let's
say roughly $18.50 apiece? Not so bad for 3 new titles, complete in
boxes with all docs and contents.

I would still like to see the prices drop a bit, and see him accept
Paypal for payment. :)
