I missed out on the Atari Pint Glass Set, but I did pick up an Atari T-shirt from Target the other day for $10. It's not too bad, although I don't ever recall them using "Entertainment Technologies" in their logo... They also had a Pitfall and Pac Man shirt, so you've got almost half the week covered!

i bought one of each. this was about a month ago. there's also a toddler's red long-sleeve Atari tee and a blue Pac-Man 'nom-nom-nom' tee (also toddler).

in other Atari at Target news, for $60 there's some kind of arcade controller for the iPad. i didn't buy that though as i don't have an iPad.

Didn't see the Atari arcade controller base for the iPad when I was there. Has anyone reviewed it? $60 seems a little steep, but maybe when it goes on clearance...

Maing, we ain't need to see yo damn draws, sheeeeit! (apply appropriate ghetto drawl, and don't forget about the 40.)
Actually, those are pretty cool. I'd have me a pair if I'd known about them.

And thus why it's good to get 'em used / new off Ebay or at trade shows. Had to watch for awhile, but I got the sweet pint glass set for $20 shipped off Ebay, couldn't be happier with their quality, and Atari gets $0 in the deal. The shirts will show up on Ebay eventually, and plus there's a lot of good Atari print shirts on Ebay right now too.

I've picked up both the Pitfall game cover and Pac-Man "nom nom" shirts at Target, as well as a Space Invaders one IIRC, now I'll have to keep an eye out for the Atari one.

If you want to add more to your wardrobe, check the t-shirt section in Wal-Mart. Over the last year I picked up (generally for $7.50), Pac-Man (arcade playing field), Galaga "for a good time insert quarter", a plain TRON logo (original film), and some others. They usually have Nintendo ones, too, if that's your thing.

I'm glad to see that Atari is remembered, but does the "Entertainment Technologies" part bother anyone else? I've NEVER seen that before, which makes me wonder if it was invented to give the shirt some humorous irony. Okay, not the end of the world, but on a vintage-looking shirt it almost seems like... revisionist history? I dunno, what do you think?

I just saw Atari shirts at Old Navy about two days ago . They were made of super thin fabric, which I really do not care for.

Leave it to Target to screw it up. Remember, this is the same store that sold "redneck and proud of it" and "You are the weakest link..." shirts.

I bought one. Old Navy claims it is exclusive but a t-shirt vendor at WonderCon earlier in the year had similar offerings...

Probably used internally at the company. I saw another variation on an arcade machine that had "Los Gatos" written under the iconic Atari logo.

I wish the current Atari Inc. would buy out the rights to the various "Atari Games" logos from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment so they could go on merchandise.

They are really discounted now , picked up 4 Pitfall Shirts yesterday from Target for a net total of $11.29 [2.82 each :)]

Too bad these were not more succesfull as Kaboom!, Stampede, River Raid, and Laser Blast shirts would have been extremely cool. Although in today's world my guess is Kaboom! could never be done.

They had the Atari shirts as well although they were full price, but even if they were discounted the current owner of the Atari name will never, I repear never, get one cent from me.

Cause these old timers think that that the current Atari is disrespecting their memories and 'perfect past' image they have of the golden age of video games. :P

Seriously, I don't fully get it myself, but a lot of these folks are operating under the misguided notion that boycotting a few cheap things made by Atari will help bring back the company they know from their youth. But I'm a modern gamer mostly, not a collector.....

More arcade game than Atari 2600 games but This Old Game has some pretty cool t-shirts, about half Atari-related. I especially like the Tempest and Atari Football shirts but the Warlords shirt is nice, too.
