YouTube told me he put up 6 new videos recently, for some reason I'd not noticed or seen the earlier uploads. There must be getting on for 100 of them in total in around a week or so, it must have been quite some effort to record and edit all those.

Nice thing is there's a few homebrews & stuff in there as well, not just the same old videos of the Atari-released carts and the audio & video quality is way higher than your average YouTube retro videogame stuff.

I wouldn't mind having a modded Jaguar of that caliber!

For me the big plus would be switching to a nice small tidy HDMI cable rather than the stonking great SCART cables. Be nice if this sort of upscaller was available as a smallish unit that plugged into the Jag's AV port.

Does anyone know how he did it, or recommend a good upscaler?

there are alot of good upscalers, depends on how much you're willing to spend and what kind of inputs and outputs you need (as well as the output resolution .etc).

Has anyone on here had success with any particular model? I've asked this question before, but it never gets answered.. Maybe no one is using this setup?

I would like to know where you can get an upscaler at... preferably a reasonable priced one, lol

I see a lot of them at ebay:

I have this one: http://www.dvdo.com/iScanDuo.aspx

Ofcourse the quality will never be 'HD', but you get the benefit of using scart rgb instead of s-video which whould mean an increase of color-resolution, since the color-bandwith of s-video is limited.

I personally like startech and have their VID2HDMITV, I bought that one in particular because my TV has no S-Video inputs. You will probably learn alot more about the particular upscaler you want if you have a price in mind (that *really* makes a difference) and search for reviews or ask on more relevant forums. The only feature I suggest you make sure the upscaler has is color adjustment capability. Some of the cheapie upscalers don't, so you have to calibrate your TV to make the colors look normal, then the colors will look off on all your other inputs.
