I know its running (Hopefully in its entirety). So maybe its just getting prepped for release?

Jagware are working on it, and, having played it, I can tell you it ROCKS :)

The Jaguar is having the best years of its life right now.

Great game. Nice to see it's coming to the Jaguar finally. I always wondered when this was going to release. It will be a good addition to the very small Platformer genre for the Jaguar.

I wouldn't say Another World is a platformer... it's more like an adventure game.

Anyone know if its gonna be a cart or CD release? I've actually been thinking about buying the 15th Anniversary edition for PC recently.

Action adventure indeed. Amazing game starring a physicist.

I think he means "Please ask SebRMV" - people doing things like this for their own amusement don't generally take well to being told how to do things :)

Don't think. For just $10 DRM Free, just do it. :P

It looks great... but on the other hand I have this game for my ST and played it to the end... I doubt that would buy it again if its 1:1 the same.

The "new" PC version does have beautiful redrawn backgrounds (which will be featured on the Jaguar version too) and higher resolution. But you can disable them if you prefer the looks of the original game.

I think it is longer that the ST version too.

PS : welcome back, Lotek !

Oh yeah? Well tell Seb...

..that we're very appreciative of his work on the Jaguar, Another World and otherwise, and we're glad he's stuck around. And tell him to feel free to stop in and say hello more often. ;)

Is the "new" PC version backgrounds the same as on the 3DO version?

I might just do that. I usually oppose digital but the DRM on it is nasty which is why I gave pause. Is it a one time download and you have the install files on your pc or does it require its own interface kind of like steam?

All games on GOG are DRM free and stand-alone. So no environment needed like Steam. Download it one time and install it on every machine you want. Also you can redownload as much as you like it case you lost the installation files.
I've bought already many classics from GOG, unfortunately I got the PC version of Another World already from another source with DRM before it appeared on GOG :(
