Guys of all of you that have the single ender spikes peak complete is your manual black and white cover or colored? Mine is black and white and i have seen color ones but i think i found out why.
Correct me if im wrong but it looks like ony double enders had the color manuals and singles all have black and white is this right?

Basically, that is correct, although Xonox was known to be a bit, um, sloppy with what they included, so sometimes single-enders show up with the color manual.

(Note the triangle in the upper left corner - this identifies which manual belongs with what release.)

This is interesting. I have three double enders but no manuals. Perhaps the single versions were released later with the black and white manuals? This seems to follow Atari 7800 cart labels. Pics of the manuals?

So in summary, sometimes the single enders were sold with the color 'double ender' manual, and sometimes they were sold with the b/w 'single ender' manual.

Is that correct?

I have an Artillery Duel Single ender boxed that was sold to me with the color manual that says 'Xonox Double Ender' at the top, so I'm wondering if it could be the original manual.

That is correct. I presume the early single enders carried the double ender manual becuase xonox wanted to clear its old inventory of double ender manuals before starting so include the single ender manual...

Most likely, yes. Although you do have some kooks who like to match the single-ender manual up with the single-ender cart. Like me. :dunce:
