The first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto installment came out yesterday. Looks like it's going to take place in fake California again. Hopefully it will be more like San Andreas and less like GTAIV. All of the forced fake socialization with the NPCs in GTAIV really killed that game for me. That and the fact that it just seemed uninteresting. All of the tongue-in-cheek humor in the previous games really added to the enjoyability, but IV was pretty bland. Hopefully V returns to the flavor of the older titles.

Would be cool if this followed a Breaking Bad-like story. I enjoyed GTA4, but honestly my favorite is still Vice City.

I'm just thrilled to play a protagonist that I can actually understand again.

Looks sweet though, I'm sure it'll be great.

I rented GTA: IV, played it for about 10 to 20 minutes, then took it back. It wasn't even close to being as good as GTA: SA. Besides the game simply sucking, the cheats were too hard/slow to access.

I hope the airplane in the video is a hint and it means the game will be more like GTA: SA (with improvements).

I'd get it if it had FUN cheats and ones that weren't such a pain to access. Trying to refill your health by using your phone and going out of the menu each time you're shot by the 15 odd policemen is annoying. While GTA 3 is still my favorite, being my first PS2 game, San Andreas is probably the most fun. I hope the environment is as diverse as SA, but until more info is released, Saints Row 3 has my interest more.
