Interesting eBay auctions, September/October 2011

These auctions ended a week or more ago, so I feel comfortable mentioning them:

1) a NOS Atari Game Center - closed at a big $152.50. This is comparable to another sealed one that sold previously. Given that the covers of these crack easily, it's nice to get a (hopefully) complete one. I'd like to know if there is any paperwork in that box. For comparison, an opened but intact one sold 3 days before this one for $52.00. All hail the box! And glue!

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 2708372665311?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=270837266531&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

2) DigitalPress listed a loose cart Bounty Bob Strikes Back for the Atari 5200 in an auction that opened at $29.99 with no reserve. Final hammer price: $306.02. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 3505007081191?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=350500708119&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

3) A loose Malagai from AA member neonihonsei down in Mexico went for $270 after opening with a $429 BIN OBO.

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1506767240921?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=150676724092&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

4) He had another rarity up, Quadrun (loose cart) with a lot of label wear, that went for $114.11.

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1506617459961?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=150661745996&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

5) From another seller, another rarity, Music Machine (loose cart), went for $304.99 in open bidding.

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 2608643720331?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=260864372033&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

6) This lot of a 2600 and a mix of 25 boxed and loose carts had a CIB Track & Field (the box had a lot of wear and tear) go for $100.30 - not a bad deal.

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 2708167864681?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=270816786468&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

7) Continuing a trend I've been seeing for awhile, boxed lots are noticeably down in price (so if you are new to Atari collecting, it's a great time to get on board). On average, a lot of R1s and 2s tends to get around $1.50 per boxed game, R3s and 4s get about $4 per boxed game. If the boxes are in less than good shape, the deals get even better. This one - eBay Auction -- Item Number: 2208711749491?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=220871174949&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER] - with titles like Flash Gordon, The Earth Dies Screaming, and a fair dose of Activision went for only $29.22 for 24 games.

8) Finally, this copy of King Kong (box and cart only) from a seller Canada went for the low price of $14.51.

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1506709570721?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=150670957072&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]
