I think a survey will show that most can copy the code. That leaves me to think that there's a problem at your end. But heck, that feature may come in handy in the near future. Who knows.

:-D

Excuse me I should have said code <> icon.
I am using Windows 7 with IE 9 on a 3 month old 1Tb Hard Drive.
So the OS is not the problem nor is it the computer. Quad Core 2.93 Xeon with 6 Gig of RAM.

Last time this happened Firefox worked fine but IE 9 and Safari did not. I posted a message to the AtariAge and it was fixed.

I have pretty much the same system. Tried with Opera 11.52, IE 9.08.8112.16421 Update 9.0.3 and Firefox 8.0 and it works fine. Sure you're using the latest version of Classic99 ? There's been some updates to the internal clipboard extraction.

By the sounds of it I would think that its a software glitch in the browser, so try a few different ones, I use google chrome and have never had any problems. But there are literally hundreds of web browsers out there so just try a few HTH

Hundreds ? You're probably right. I would stick to one of the bigger ones, and then I think we're down at a handful or two.

Don't use IE.

Something changed in IE recently and it does translation on the text that you cut-and-paste from a webpage. Tursi has given details about this in the Classic99 thread, a full explanation as to what is going on, and what he has done to try and work around the problems.

Rich...

I just noticed the same problem last night. Shouldn't have to do this, but pasting into Notepad to strip any weird formatting, selecting that and repasting into Classic99 worked fine.

Thanks will do that from now on. I do not like Firefox as it is no better then IE unless I need 9 windows open at once then it is faster but not by much.

Sorry but I was not picking a fight or attacking anyone or picking on anyone.

Just pointed out I could not copy the text you pasted. Did not think a federal case would result.

The XB code was pretty cool though.

Don't think it's a federal case, but I could be wrong. Was referring to another thread by the way.

Thanks. First comment in the thread on "topic". Thanks again.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to spot someone being a butt hole Karsten. Maybe you could dial it down a notch.....
