Updated first post with most recent pre-orders and this bit of info:

"I want to stress that the DB9 to HD15 adapter does NOT make your Jaguar magically work with a VGA monitor! THIS IS NOT A VGA SOLUTION!!

Its for HD15 to 4 BNC connectors cables for Sony PVM style monitors. NOT VGA!! It just a short piece of cable with a DB9 on one end and a HD15 on the other.

I think there some has been some confusion on this point. Just want to make this crystal clear."

Also just wanted to mention in case you missed it:

This also doesn't magically allow you to plug your Jag into the port on most HiDef TV's marked as either 'RGB' or VGA'.

That ports still requires 31KHz and most likely Horizontal plus Vertical sync. Jag doesn't supply vertical.

$22 for an AV/Svideo cable is a great deal. They often sell for a lot more on eBay....

Most of the parts have been received and cables have started to be built.

Hopefully have a couple photos for everyone in a few days.

Any chance you may do more of these at a later date? I'd like to get on someday but around this time of year money is to tight. :(

Just curious, where did you get that plastic housing for the 24 pin connector?

Update:

Sorry guys, but I am behind on building the cables. Long story short I just haven't had as much time to work on them as I would have liked. My dad has cancer and I went in to visit him this weekend and only had a few hours to build cables and adapters.

I had intended everyone to have them by christmas, but it just isn't going to happen. Sorry about that. I plan to ship several this week and the rest as I can. I hope to have them all built and shipped by end of next week.

No worries. We will get them when - then! Besides, its not uncommon to run out of time or into problems around this time of year anyway (Sturmwind standard & L.E. editions for the Dreamcast has just been delayed as well). In the meantime, all the best with your dad and hope you and your family get to spend some quality time together over this Christmas holidays. :)

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I hope I'm not too late. I just PM'ed you... please let me know.

EDIT: Just read the end, I'm really sorry to hear about your dad's condition, and I really hope he recovers soon. I'm still interested in the cable, and not worried about how long it will take if you still have room for me on your order list.

Thanks,

Todd
