Thought it was just perspective at first glance that made this look different.
Is it just a well done computer generated image?

I agree it looks like Photoshop, but well done.
The thing that immediately gives it away is the glare on the joystick. Just looks so fake.

I think it may be entirely fake, possibly a 3D model or raytracing. If so, it is very cool.

it's cg... and for the record ray tracing is a function within 3d rendering... *computer animation major*

I know, i was just trying to differentiate between actual modelling and function based imaging. I used to play with ray tracing back in the 90s.

no what i'm saying is you render a 3d model and a function used within the render engine is ray tracing...
