EA transitions BioWare from Developer to 'Label'

Interesting, though the articlementions that this basically happened during an EA restructuring in August, I hadn't really heard anything about it. Seems as though the EA name has gotten so tarnished that instead to their labels being called EA Games, EA Sports, and EA Play, they wanted to go with something totally different! :)

That having been said, I must admit that I've been on an EA Games tear lately. Though one includes a BioWare game (Mass Effect 2), my last games have been ME2, then Dead Space, and then I just finished The Saboteur. Regardless of some of their practices, I enjoyed each and every one.

I guess there's more to find out on December 10th @VGAs.

If they are worried about their tarnished name they don't need to change their name. Here is how to fix their problem. 1) Stop punishing their customers for something they haven't done by buying your game(piracy) 2) stop with the shady business practices 3) Fire everyone in your customer service department and hire people that are actually competent. Problem solved.
