There's so many I haven't tried, if I go by http://en.wikipedia....o_game_consoles

But from the ones I've heard about over the years:

RCA Studio II
Bally Astrocade
Emerson Arcadia 2001
Sega SG-1000
Neo*Geo
CD-i
Commodore CDTV
3DO

It would be a fairly big list, but the most glaring holes in my gaming experience would be:

5200
7800
Lynx
Master System (yet I have at least a dozen games for it)
Saturn
Channel F
Astrocade
Odyssey 2

Intellivision really is a "must own" too, but not sure how someone who has never played one before would feel about it.

The list of mainstream consoles I've never played is pretty small. Might go something like this:

Fairchild Channel F (although I had/have similar controllers for my 2600).
Creatavision/Dick Smith Wizzard
That old b/w dot matrix handheld system from Milton Bradley
Odyssey 1
Odyssey 1 has to take the cake for systems that are cool to have, but not so much to play. Granted, I didn't have a full set to work with, so maybe I didn't get the full experience. I got one from a rummage sale in 77 or 78 and it was my very first game system ever.

Colecovision. Yet I still want one.

I've always really wanted to try both the Vectrex and the Lynx, and I've never even seen them before either.

The MicroVision? If so, that should be at the top of your list. It was the first handheld system with interchangeable cartridges and it was released in the 1970's!

I hate to admit it, but I haven't ever tried the Arcadia 2001. I've have one for probably 7 years now but have never tried it out. I've only got one game with it and I kept it sealed. I'd really like to try it out sometime. I think I've at least tried pretty much all the other classic consoles.

IMHO, the Astrocade and Vectrex are "must try" systems....two of my favorites to be more specific.

Both of those are fun systems to experience.

The Astrocade is pretty amazing because of the controllers, which were IMO astoundingly better than anything else for their time. While the Astrocade doesn't have that many "must play" games, the ones that it does have are excellent.

The Vectrex is outright amazing, both then and now. It is one of my favorite systems ever. Great controllers, too.

(I've said this before, but I'll say it again) To me the penultimate trifecta of 80s consoles is the ColecoVision, 5200, and Vectrex. Those offer the best of pre-crash home gaming, each with a different take on things, so all 3 give an amazing experience. The 5200 and CV suffer from bad controller ergonomics and reliability, but the CV is resolved by using the Super Action Controllers (available at the time) and the 5200 by purchasing Best remanufactured gold contact controllers (available in more recent years).

Aside from the really obscure ones, I've never played:

Jaguar
Game Gear
Vectrex
Colecovision
Master System
Astrocade
C64
Atari 8-bit family
Channel F
Pong clone
Neo Geo
3DO
N-Gage
Wonderswan
Arcadia 2001

I'd like to add a few more:

Apple II
Saturn
32X
Kinect (add-ons, I know...)
CDi
Studio II (never heard of it until I arrived here)
Odyssey 1 + 2
Famicom (seems popular on AA)
Android device
Atari ST
most home computers except PCs and Macs

Like others, I'm only going to include ones that aren't that obscure...

Vectrex
Colecovision
Intellivision
Neo Geo
Sega 32x
TurboGrafx-CD (I've played games from it on the Wii Virtual Console, but not the system itself.)
Atari ST
Any Atari 8-bit computer
N-Gage
C64
Channel F

And I'm sure several others, but I'm not going to go through and list all the hundreds of pong clones I never played...
