Well I recently got a Lynx and know nothing about it! What are some of the best games I can get for the Lynx?

There are expensive:
Desert Strike, Lemmings, Cybervirus, Alpine GAmes
and other really good Lynx games: Checkered Flag, Chip´s Challange, Pinball Jam, Rygar and many more.

Raiden's pretty good too, and Shadow of the Beast is a must-have, especially because it's not rare at all — it was even the pack-in game for a while.

California Games is also enjoyable but it's more a very short collection of mini games than a whole game in itself, being for some reason cut down to just four events.

cheapo favourites: Xenophobe, Rampage, Joust, Steel Talons, Yastuna 2
"expensive" favourites: same as Tempest said, and definitely CyberVirus. I´d add Lexis and Road Riot and Lynxopoly. They are all "modern" homebrew carts and most of them are above average games.

"Expensive" being between 18 and 42 Euros, "cheap" meaning below 10. :)

All you need/want is STUN Runner.

I'm all about Pinball Jam and Shanghai.
Rampart, STUN runner, APB, and Xybots are probably my second tier.

So many of the games are inexpensive, even the sealed ones. Lynx has been quite a treat for me.

Lots of good suggestions: I rank KLAX, Shanghai, Ms. PacMan, Battlewheels, Paperboy, and most if the other arcade conversions as good.

There are so many good games on the Lynx its hard to know where to start (though i would with Shadow of the Beast ;) ).

In my experience though, while the Lynx is good fun in single player, the multiplayer ComLynx games is where the Lynx really starts to shine (and even topple the 'opposition'). Its even worth getting another Lynx and a comlynx cable if you can, along with the necessary comlynxable games. Some of the best multiplayer networked games for the Lynx:

Checkered Flag (1-6 players) - Great formula one racer. I don't normally like car games but i enjoy this one. Good on its own but best in multiplayer.
Robosquash (1-2 players) - 1st person Raquetball type game with power-ups. OK in single player, GREAT FUN in 2-Player!!
Slime World (1-8 players) - Great exploration game that gets better with each additional player.
Zarlor Mercenary (1-4 players) - one of my all time favourite SHMUPS! More challenging with 3-4 players but as a single player its rather FANTASTIC as well!

Just a word of warning: i would invest in a power supply if you haven't got one already - it will save you heaps of money (new batteries) and time (recharging batteries)! ;)

Most of all, enjoy your Lynx :)
