Are you burned out from the usual week to week HSC's? Or are you just missing too many games! If so, work on your ColecoVision skills here and bring the heat this winter! FIRE AWAY, GAME ON! Do you think you got what it takes to survive the novice or expert ColecoVision gamer?!

If so, you're in luck. For the first time, we are going to hold a ColecoVision HSC Knockout tournament. Are you game? Here are the rules...

1) Each game will be posted with a time limit for scores to be submitted. As with the HSC rules, photos are encouraged but not required except when mentioned for the game in question.

2) Once time has expired for the game, the player(s) with the lowest score will be eliminated from the competition (aka Knocked-out) and the remaining players move to the next title.

3) Players are required to post a score for each game to avoid elimination. Failure to post a score would be equivalent to posting a score of zero.

4) The winner, simply put, is the last member standing.

Are you in, if so, post below to reserve your space in the Knockout tournament? Are you a HSC Moderator thinking this would be cool for your HSC? If so, drop me a private PM and we can get a series of knockouts going, with the winners facing each other in a final, multi-console knockout for supreme Atariage HSC supremacy!

Tournament will commence 1st January 2012.

The CV HSC will be run independently from the Knockout competition. So, there will be two games for you to enjoy at each interval.

Don't know when this is starting but since I have been slacking in attendance for HSC I will try to give this one a try.

Just a heads up that the tournament will be starting soon. The start will be coordinated with the start of the INTV tournament.

OK, this just became personal...found this on the Intellivision Forum...

Sign ups are being taken in the HSC forum, and the Intellivision winner will defend the INTV glory vs the scum of the earth that is the Atari 5200, 7800, Colecovision winners

I bolded the key words....

(this is said in jest, of course, but still....)

In coordination with the INTV tournament, the ColecoVision tournament will commence on 1st January 2012 with a game selected at random from the list of games submitted by those competing.

There is still time for new sign-ups so put your name down now to ensure a place to compete for ColecoVision glory over the dirge of the universe, i.e. the Intellivision tournament winner
