What is the difference between the Pirate found on the Phantom II/Pirate cart and the "Pirate Special Edition" ROM?
Is it expanded or with different enemies?

Mostly just the more colorful graphics + everything mentioned here:

It was made as a "Thank you" to the small group of hardcore fans of the game.

Always one of my fav games I bought that cart for Phantom II and ended up playing Pirate twice as much!
