Got a copy of Virtua Cop for the PS2 the other day but could not get my light gun to work on it. I have the Time Crisis predator gun that works fine with all the Time Crisis titles on the PS2 but it wont work with Virtua. Is there a specific reason for this or do I need a different type of light gun to play it?

Is this Virtua Cop: Elite Edition? It officially supports the Sony Dual Shock and Namco GunCon 2 controllers. See if you can borrow a GunCon 2 from someone to test it out.
