Use default dir of c:\Gamebase\TI99-4A if you don't want to mess around changing paths and .ini files.

got it working with Classic99.
extracted archive to C:\GameBase\TI99-4A\
downloaded Gamebase Frontend from:
http://www.gamebase6...m/downloads.php
and install to C:\GameBase.
during setup I selected the Classic99 Emulator that comes with it here:
C:\Gamebase\TI99-4A\Emulators\classic99 v360

C:\Gamebase\Gamebase.exe to start

Don't forget to also install MESS 140 support (Dir name "MESS 140" in emulators) as it has disk write facility for saving games and is also exclusively needed to run certain games.

Impressive. I have only begun to browse thru some Screenshots, and I'm a bit surprised of how many I think I've seen before. I must once have been going thru the disks of Bromosel. I had hoped to see some of my long lost cassette games and demos from 1982 to 1984. I guess they weren't widely spread (and I wonder why).

:)

If you can wing them over to me I'll put them V2.0

There is a Java version of the Gamebase frontend http://www.emucr.com..._medium=twitter and there's MacMESS but not having a Mac I have'nt tried that combination.

Thanks, problem is, they went out with the machine in about 1988. A family nearby (2 teachers and 3 kids) showed interest, so I gave them the lot.

Hey, OX.

I just checked the version of "Rush Hour" you put in the gamebase. It's the unfinished version, I told you not to include it: http://www.atariage....ost__p__2359375

Here's the finished version: http://www.atariage....ost__p__2360340

Anyway, you did an impressive work, thanks. ;-)

No idea. Gamebase64 had a link on the forums removed as well... Guess it's dead.

Someone thought it contained more than PD, it probably did, preserve worthy or not, it became yet another TI nightmare. Every time it's brought up, there's like hundreds of opinions on copyrights, what may motivate other people, stealing and/or crediting, who knows what and general mudslinging.

Hi OX.

Are you still planning to do an updated TI Gameshell? Looking forward to it if you do!! ;-)

Yes, there will be a version 2, can't say when though as I'm taking a break from it for now.
