Apparently it opened in October. Today's Chronicle has an article: "The Game Isn't Over Yet for Retro Gamers."

Sadly it's on the opposite side of town from me, which for Houston may as well be in another state. But I shall get there some day. Heck I might even drive there this weekend just for the experience.

This just might be enough for me to stop wishing Bookmans would come to Texas.

Check it out, but don't plan on buying much. Their prices at their Austin locations are pretty wild most of the time. Sometimes you can find some cool stuff they don't know what do to with, and get it cheap... but if it's got an aisle dedicated to the corresponding system, prices will be double what you'd hope to see.

That article was originally written for the San Antonio Express News but they did write mostly on the new Houston store. The San Antonio store here is pretty nice but I do like to go up to the main store in Austin every so often (and hit Frys....the main Goodwill Computerworks.....Albert's arcade).

If the Houston store is anything like the Austin/San Antonio locations then you really should go and check them out FujiSkunk, even if you don't buy anything.
