Hey Everyone!


I know I've been in hibernation for a bit, but the end of the year is always the most exciting. Especially the holidays.


I'm starting this thread for all details regarding the "Retro Duo Portable". Also known as the RDP.


As always, everyone knows that a review and get dirty with all the classic goodness that one can handle.

To start things off, I took a quick photo of a recent poster that was sent to me alongside my shipment for the new version 3.0 Retro Duos

As you can see it's a somewhat Easter egg announcement, however being the classic super sleuth I am...I always give the goods when they become available.


From what I am hearing, this will make all mass produced classic portables look foolish.

Ok, so it's official. The Retro Duo Portable will be available in BOTH a Red Matte Color as well as a Black Matte color (I mean how can you not have a black version of any game console right?!).


As it stands right now, the unit will have Super Nintendo compatibility out of the box, and the original Nintendo will will be playable via the included Retro Port adapter that fits nicely in the RDP unit.




The unit also comes with 2 Controllers, TV cable adapter, rechargeable battery. and even a original Super Nintendo controller adapter!
