Telegames sold it back in the day, I have it (standard plastic clamshell case they used). Much like Fortress of Alcazar (which I also own), Activision completed the game but chose not to release it and Telegames picked it up. So yes they were released.

IIRC it has the standard Telegames silver label and a B&W manual. I'll have to look when I get home.

I actually had both Alcazar and Rock and Bolt on the ADAM on floppy disk.
