Picked up a 2 port 5200 deck for free and went to test and the switch under the on off top button are broken. Any way I can hardwire or what can I do to see if the unit even works? Thanks in advance for anyone's help. Not as knowledgeable as most here.

Solder a jumper across the back of the switch.
