really stinks how I lost my last life... I was doing my dodge and shoot, while the detection was very unforgiving, I could have sworn I cleared the LAST enemy plane.

Just curious what you guys use for a controller when playing this game. I have been using the stock CV controller and find with the combination of rapid firing and continuous dodging movements required that I just cannot get a decent score. So, please let me know what you use/recommend.

If I'm playing via emulator I use my logitech joypad...if on the ColecoVision I use my Amiga PowerStick...the standard CV controller isn't very good for this game.

Thanks for the info Joe. I decided to try something other than my stock controller. I tried a converted NES pad but found the D-Pad on it too difficult for the rapid changes of direction that this game needs. I then tried my Suncom Joy Sensor pad which I have never used and found it to be really quite good on this game. I managed to achieve a personal best of 37,430.

It was certainly cool seeing some of the later stages that I have never seen before

I must say that the Twin Galaxies high score is quite incredible for this very tough game.
