I've got a few things I'm probably going to sell after Christmas and into the new year - not necessarily just here at AA but locally on Kijiji but I was wondering if its really a good time after the holidays when everyone has spent so much money on Christmas. Should I wait a little longer? I thought I remembered it being said that around April is a good time because people get their tax returns but I don't think I want to wait that long.

February is usually a pretty solid month, some people are getting there taxes back, and it's cold and soul crushing. perfect time for video games.

Oct, Nov, Dec and January have always been good months for me and retail. Starts tailing off in February I'd say. Oh and then there's the tax return thing where people who don't really have money, might be more inclined to spend waste the pittance they get back on stupid things they could live without - so it's a win scenario for sellers to be sure!

April/tax time would definitely be a good time to sell. However, if you were to offer up right after Christmas, I'd think people would have some Christmas cash available to buy. When I get money for Christmas, I keep it for me, and it doesn't get absorbed by the bills. Don't care how poor we get. I figure, if I receive money, it should be spent on things I want, not things we need.
