In 30 years collecting..i have only ever seen 1 in person...so I bought it.. its got to be pretty rare. Nothing like lochjaw rare...but pretty rare. maybe a 10 - 25 rare price.

This is one of those "rare" carts that you can always find on internet. I bought mine for 5 euros inkl. P&P from german ebay a wile ago.
There are more copys for sale there (right now), and also on ebay (and such) in other european countries.

I say it´s a rarity 5-6.

If you are willing to pay alot (to much) you can just click on the "buy now" icon on ebay.
If you want the cart cheap, have patience.

Sort of off topic: When did Defender go out of production as far as NTSC was concerned? Was it one of the titles that was sold late in the 2600's life? I just can't remember. I bought my copy during the crash.
