Some people confuse "classic" with "old" The PS2 is certainly old, but it's not classic. It's last generation. Yes it's still in production, but it's not "modern" in any sense of the word. (like a lot of people confuse "modern" and "in prouduction")
To me, the PS2 is last gen. For me, for a console to be classic, it has to be out of production for at least two generations (that would make the PSX Saturn and N64 "classic" in a way, though some would argue that)
Once the big three release the new next gen, then the PS2, Cube and Xbox can become classic. Now weather you think they are worth collecting for is anohter story altogether.
