Look at this:

No one is immune! Even Pelé quit soccer to play Atari! Take a look:

Don't let Atari turn you into a little boy! Go out and do manly things like chopping wood, watching NASCAR, or having an affair.

When asked "Have you played Atari today?" your answer should be "No!" Don't believe their happy family propaganda:

Atari will destroy you and your family. Cast out the demon called Atari and reclaim your life!

No matter how much Atari pressures you, just say no:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhfrCyg7DCE

They'll even try to make you think you can become a champion:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkFe1USqS5Q

Or they'll try to make you think that you're some type of 007 character who has access to a special club:

Now I suppose you can play with famous basketball stars:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4Z1ZwzFJ44

I believe their goal is to suck you in, then drop you into a tar pit:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lQ0MLH0ijQ

Or maybe they are simply trying to drive you insane:

And don't think it was only Atari that was trying to destroy you and your family. Sears was in on it too:

And remember, your childish addiction is better on ColecoVision:

In other words, this is the first time I've seen a couple of these commercials and some of the ones I have seen are better quality than I've seen on YouTube before. Many of them were uploaded in December of 2011 (this month!). For more classic commercials, check out the following channel at YouTube:

notice that Atari wanted family to PLAY TOGETHER. what happened was that parents suddenly saw that it made a quick compulsory entertainment fix for kids and turned it into a virtual babysitter.

how'd that turn out? Well, somehow I made it okay.

There are a few more commercials below that you may not have seen, or if you have seen them, you may not have seen these higher quality versions:

The guy looks like Matthew Broderick (Bueller) but I'm pretty sure it's not him.

Maybe if you slapped Matthew Broderick really hard in the face with Colm Meaney, he might look like that guy in the commercial.

Thanks for promoting my channel :) I've searched all over the internet for over a week to find every Atari,ColecoVision,Intellivision, etc commercial I could. I have some that nobody else has and higher quality than a lot. I try to find the best version I can. I still have around 200 Retro game commercials to post. I can start posting them here if anyone wants.
