Keystone Kapers

Posted Image

FLASH! Harry Hooligan, notorious con-artist, thief and all-around-not-nice-person, has escaped! He is now at large and in the vicinity of Southwick's Emporium. At this moment, Hooligan is foiling every attempt to end his felonious freedom.
On the scene is Keystone Kelly, pride of the men in blue.......

Keystone isn't a strength of mine, those double radios I always fall into... though I got a little better this time at 'em.

Sucks that they don't let you change difficulty so that you can get used to the timing on the high rounds.

Hmmm...this brings up an interesting question...as there are currently three players who have not submitted a score will all three of them be eliminated at the end of this round?

I urge some people who did not originally sign up to jump in with any kind of score...we need more players.

Sorry if I miss anyone, but with a little more than two hours left... I got it as..
  • jblenkle (51,800)
  • ColecoDan (38,850)
  • patbb (34,800)
  • cparsley (28,600)
  • ed1475 (28,400)
  • JacobZu7zu7 (24,850)
  • skosh (24,350)
  • roadrunner (21,800)
  • Ikrananka (15,850)

Remember, whoever wins here defends the Coleco's honor... the Atari 2600 still has time on it's game (HERO) and the INTV has time on it's first game (Night Stalker)....

Rock on Atari/Coleco/INTV-age!

Great round everyone and thanks for playing. Looks like I'm out of the tournament already and I'm not surprised :)

Great score Joe, congratulations - any tips you can give?

Looking at the past CV HSC high score and the Twin Galaxies high score I am blown away by how good those players must have been at this game. They must also have an awful lot of patience due to the repetative nature of the game. I'm assuming the game quickly reaches a maximum difficulty level which once mastered enables very high scores to be achieved.
