UGGG!!!

I just spent the last two weeks typing in some programs with my 130XE w/Spartados 4.45 w/the IDE plus adapter.

Now I got a (I think) error 181 directory corrupt error and my directories list garbage. Am I screwed? Any suggestions?

Did you Save or List the programs to disk ?

If you listed them, getting them back with a sector editor might be relatively easy if the directory/link structure is screwed.

I'd suggest though not to use the drive, or at least do a raw dump backup using PC.

I agree with Rybags. Make a sector copy of the hard drive you are using, ie. '....,or at least do a raw dump backup using PC'. There are utilities to do sector copy of a hard disk. How big is your disk? You'd need
a APE/SIO2PC cable or something else that would allow a 16 meg or whatever your drive is. I have a utility that you can make a file sector copy of the hard drive, if it has 256 byte sectors.
Once you have dumped the drive to a file that can be manipulated with a PC you can safely work on the image. Probably someone that made the SPX 4.45 can help you more.
