Whoa, what a different opinion. I loved Ridge Racer 3D, and have clocked nearly 25 hours on it.

The drifting mechanics are very different from Mario Kart, but it's not impossible, and I find it more interesting and exciting.

Just Star Fox 64 3D as well as Dream Trigger 3D, since I bought the system yesterday. I was contemplating Nano Assault while at GameStop (it was only $20), but decided to pass.

I'm going to pass on the Williams Pinball Hall of Fame as well. I was tempted to get it, but $30 is too much for a game I already own on three other platforms, not to mention I hear there are graphical issues and less tables than my other games. When it's $5 or $10 I will snag it, but not now.

Hope you can play the 3D rail-shooter levels without inverted controls, as there's no option to do that.

I myself am still stuck on that first 3D rail-shooter level for that reason alone. I need inverted controls for those kinds of games.

I am sure I will be fine. I believe Iridion 3D (made by the same guys) used non-inverted controls as well and I was able to play it fine, despite preferring to play it the opposite way. :)

Even as a big Sonic fan, I might wait for the price to drop. I heard it was way too short.

Just a follow-up, I was able to spend some time with it last night. I do not have a problem with the controls of the flying segments, but I am a little underwhelmed by the game overall. The flying segments in particular feel average to me (that's probably due to playing lots of Star Fox 64 3D the last few days). The top-down segments are more entertaining, but I'm not digging the puzzle-esque nature of some of the stages (I'd prefer an all-out twin-stick blast-fest), and the music doesn't really stand out in any way either (which is a shame, because these guys made some great tunes back in the Iridion days). I still have to give it more time, but my thoughts on it now aren't nearly as great as I expected they would be.

*edit: I also picked up a Virtual Console game, Gargoyle's Quest for the GB. I don't intend on buying many (if any more) of these, but I wanted to get one to at least test it out. It looks fine for what it is, and it's great that Nintendo added a save-state feature!

I currently own three. I have Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7 and Rayman 3D. I love Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 is excellent too. As for Rayman 3D, I got confused and thought that this was a brand new game. It turns out that it's just the 3D version of the one that is on the Nintendo 64. But it's still a good game and it's neat to see the game in 3D.

I'm looking forward to seeing better games coming out this year so I can be inspired to get more games.

Bonk (if that is actually the name) from Hudson might be good when released, I liked it alot on TG16. Also Contra 3D.

What do I own? I'm not going to count download games, as most of what I have are ambassador games (like a lot of the GBA games though) Or, I got for free (nintendo regularly has free games so....)

I have, so far,
Super Monkey Ball3D
Super Mario 3D land
Ghost Recon Shadow Wars
Lego Starwars 3D
Ridge Racer 3D
Street fighter 3D edition
Pilot Wings 3D
Star Fox 3D

That's about it for me sofar. What do I play the most? I play a lot of Starwars, Starfox and Super Mario, but the machine says I have a ways to go to reach the number of hours I put into ghost recon LOL.

Future wants?

Super Mario Kart 7
Zelda
Kid Icarus looked interesting
Resident Evil.

I was looking at December Nintendo power and they had a schitload of games listed for the 3DS in the coming year and not much for the Wii or DS

I currently have:

Zelda: Ocarina
Super Mario 3D Land

I did have Steel Diver, but gave it to my nephew.

I also downloaded Super Mario Land 1 & 2, Baseball (which blows btw), and the excellent 3D conversion of NES Excitebike! Also, Four Swords, which I have forgotten to play yet.

Only have The Legend of Zelda OOT, came with bundle and Super Mario 3D. Love both games. Anyone got 3D Xevious? Good? Bad? Appreciate any thoughts on this game.
