And people wonder why Ebay charges a fee on the shipping? It's to discourage bs like that.

I really need to check my copy someday lol! What is the difference to look for compared to the original ATLANTIS?

I'm doubting it's really atlantis 2...the only way to tell is to look at some screenshots. Which they didn't put up.

If your selling a game with is a 10 out of 10, you have to have screenshots or something.

I messaged the guy asking for proof but haven't gotten a reply yet. Doesn't Atlantis II weigh quite a bit more than the original as well?

From this site, it just says it plays faster, gives fewer points..and has different scoring characters.

It weighs more as well. And anyone can put up a fake screen shot by the way!

Yeah...i'd want screenshots from a TV or something...either way, this one only shows a crappy picture of a cart. If you know it's an atlantis 2, then you would know it's super rare, and you would think you'd make more of an effort to sell it.

Unless they are just assuming it's atlantis 2 by the cartridge pic...and don't know there is a normal atlantis with the same pic.

I think Atlantis II should weight about 5.55 grams if I remember correctly; someone else verify this. Yes, I would say just passing it off, and they may not even know the difference. Cheers. FB

I'm just waiting to see if the guy responds to my message. I messaged him early this morning. I think its just an Atlantis 1 and the guy just looked it up and really doesn't know what he has.

It's the same exact picture from one of his previous auctions of plain old "Atlantis"

I must live closer or something, shipping shows as $17.85 to me. I don't understand why someone would be charging that much to send one Atari cartridge.

I also sent the seller a message asking how they know this is an Atlantis II cartridge. I'll post the reply if I get one.

That's interesting. Sounds like its just regular Atlantis to me.

Just ask if he will do local pick up. That will pretty much sum it up if it's fake or not.

Interesting that he changed his description of it now. So he is implying it's real. I still doubt it since he has not provided any screenshots. However, it may be worth a try if it stays around 15-20 bucks.
