I read through all of this some 3 weeks ago after Sony put it up and thought others here might find it interesting too. ;) Peace out.

Go to:

manuals.playstation.net/document/en/psvita/settings/index.html

Enjoy!! :) :)

Anyone doing any reading yet? :)

My concerns with Vita after reading the user's guide are: 1.)How easy will Vita be to own and use? and 2.)It sounds a little problematic to me.

Granted,the ease of use will change after the first couple days or weeks for many users out there,just sounds a little confusing to use to me. ;) Your thoughts?

Looks all pretty standard to me. Anyone that has used things like the 360, PS3, and PSP shouldn't have any issues. And 95% of this stuff can easily be ignored completely (Such as a section dedicated towards screen brightness levels or the section about Facebook).

Manual writers often have the gift of making things sound overcomplicated.

Not me. I tried to click on the link, but it wouldn't work:

manuals.playstation.net/document/en/psvita/settings/index.html

Let me try some magic on it. Ooga Booga Kabooga Poof:

manuals.playstation.net/document/en/psvita/settings/index.html

Now it works!

@Atariboy

Yeah,I've had 5 PSPs and a Go since 2005,it might not be a problem for me at all. ;)

I'm just wondering how well the touchscreens will work and hold up and all.I've heard/read about problems with Vitas failing,locking up and etc right after people took them home in Japan.Of course,the PSP had dead pixels and sticky squares in '04 in Japan before the U.S. launch. :) LOL It may be nothing at all. ;)

Yeah,many times I never read my user guide! LOL I didn't with any of my PSPs or the Go,either.

@Random Terrain

Thanks!

I surf the Web with my 3000, or sometimes my Go,and I don't have the ability to link things like a PC or like I used to do with my notebook. :) I figured folks might just type the given URL up if I piqued their interest enough! ;) :) LOL

If I get a Vita here,I'll probably game on the Web and surf just like I have with my PSP/Go and hotspots.I could care less about a 3G Vita. ;)

Thanks again.

You sure love smiley faces. ;)

While I'm sure there are problems with the Vita (Their firmware issues that you brought up, for instance) and other things people aren't going to be crazy about (Personally, I'm disappointed the browser won't have full flash capabilities and will lack tv/out capabilities), I don't really envision the manual being a source of problems for consumers.

I envision some folks (kids??) pushing TOO DAMN HARD and cracking/pushing fingers through touchscreens or with a DS stylus.Or torn rear touchpads from gripping TOO DAMN HARD in frustration on Little Deviants and etc.Remember Wii controllers and flat screen TVs? LOL People can F*CK anything up they get their hands on! :)

In short,I expect some headaches for Sony with this next month and most of this year. ;)
