Was there a drawing accessory/controller available for the 2600? I seem to recall my cousin having one, but all I can remember of it was a flat piece of plastic which might of had a pen.

Any help os appreciated.

There was a tablet controller for the Atari 8-bit computers, and it can be plugged into either of the 2600's controller ports. I believe it's read like a pair of paddle controllers.

Thanks, I seem to remember it differently, but that is probably what my cousin had. Is this the only device that will fit into a 2600 and is drawing related? It doesn't have to have a pen.

Thanks for the great help!

I have that pad, it's beautiful! It's smaller (and IMHO lower quality) brother is the Koala pad. Another option for painting is a light pen. It is read just like a light gun. Obviously you don't need a tablet for it to work.
