hello just bought aliens vs predator for my jaguar off the net nice game but i cant get the cheat code to work

heres the code Hold Pause with Option and keep them pressed during the entire process. Press 1+ 3. Then press 2 + 5 + 7 + 9. The Predator will laugh to confirm the cheat code entry. now do i press all the buttons at once for example when it says press 2=5=7=9 do i press them all at the same time or what
