Anyone got a dead PAL 800XL?

Since I can't find my PAL 800XL, I figured I'd look for someone's old parts machine since I have a lot of repair chips. If you've got a dead 800XL you don't mind parting with (or it can even be the mobo and bottom case only), please let me know.

There's actually one on eBay here I was tempted to have a go at... victim of a C64 PSU.

Problem is, we're looking at $60 + just to land it here (also has 1050 and couple of other bits).

For me, a bit on the high side - got 2 1050s, not in any rush to aquire more. And I suspect the motherboard would need most of the ICs replaced.

Hmm... yeah I'd rather skip the drives and such and keep the package small. One day I'll find my PAL 800XL stuffed in a box of old jeans or something. It bugs me because it was really mint.

I think I've got one of my dead PAL boards working so I might be okay. Too bad they didn't all come with sockets.
