I don't own a iPad. I was wondering if there's a way to use this with classic systems. Maybe buying a cheap 9 inch lcd monitor with video inputs and installing that inside the cab, but then it would display sideways unless there's a way to change it. Anyone tried doing this succesfully?

The iCade is just a bluetooth controller in a box the shape of a mini arcade cabinet. It's nothing more than that. You need an iOS or Android device to use it, along with apps designed to use it.
