Pepsi Invaders Coke Wins! is for sale on ebay. I talked to the owner and he sounds legit! I can't afford it right now but spread the word, it ends on the 21st. Its a little beat up so it might be affordable to someone. the link is below. Thanks

With the box? I would guess up to around $2k depending who was after it. Mind you that is the worst condition box I've seen but a pepsi box in bad shape is still worth ALOT of money. I don't even think there is 10 known boxed copies of this game in the whole world.

I would say in the $1800 to $2000 range, even with thr box being in rough shape; it is still the original box. And like Shawn said there are not many known to exist. Depends on what a collector wanted to pay, two or more collectors going after it with deep pockets who knows. Cheers, FB

One of the very few boxes I do not own........been waiting patiently for a nice box. I was kind of debating on getting this one...maybe it is an omen that it was sold prematurely....... :ponder:

If I bought that one (never would as its outside my pay grade) I think it could be restored at least by having the pen ink removed. The indentations would still be there but I'm more than sure a stamp or painted art restorationist could fix those issues no problem.

I may be wrong, but biro removal is nearly impossible. That's why banks recommend using biro when writing checks as it is impossible to remove without damaging the paper. You may be able to remove the biro from the box with some heavy bleaching which would damage the paper but may not look bad as it is a white surface, but the biro on the sticker (which is the most valuable part of this itme IMHO) is there to stay....

30 year old ink would be thoroughly saturated into that board.
There is unfortunately no way of removing it without damaging the paper.
You'd just have to consider it as part of the charm and history of the object.

You can reduce the pen ink, but not throughly remove it. It does add charm and history; plus you could call the number:)

You could try to use a bleach pen or depending on the ink you could try chemical ink eradicators which can be purchased from most stationery stores. The chemicals alter the bonds of royal blue fountain pen ink -- rendering it invisible; although other forms of ink, such as from a ballpoint pen, will turn brown if the chemical ink eradicator is applied to them. I have tried it before and had varying degrees of success, some it looks great just the indents of the pen mark, others it has faded the ink, but it not removed it completely. Just depends on what you are working on and the risks you are willing to take. Cheers, FB :)

A bleach pen may make it bleed and make it look worse. in this case i would leave it as is. personally, pen marking like this are worse than creases or tears and i personally wouldn't bother buying

Just an observation, but I noticed the OP only has one post here at AA and the auction kinda disapeared. Is this just an odd coincidence or something more? :?

It would have been interesting to see where this would have ended in price. It is not unusual to see things go for double what they are worth if the top two bidders are in some kind of bidding war.
