Especially when Saturn has the best official arcade stick of these systems.

That's not saying much when there are far better third-party sticks out there. :P

Did the PSOne version have mouse/trackball support? I forget exactly which ones did, but at least a couple of the Digital Eclipse compilations on the system supported that accessory.

I'm 99% sure I've played Atari 2 and Anniversay Edition with the trackball. Those two include Pong, Super Breakout, Crystal Castles, Marble Madness, Centipede/Millipede, and Missile Command for games that would benefit from that accesory (I think Anniversary Edition has every game that was on Atari 1).

Hmm.. I have the Dreamcast version of the Anniversary Edition. I wonder if it supports the mouse? I might have to try that out..

Tempest, Missile Command, Centipede, Pong, Breakout.... with all the games to choose from, why do they focus on games that can't be played properly with the console controller? Seems awfully stupid.

Breakout is the only one that really suffers. The others are pretty playable with the gamepad although I suspect a joystick like the SNES Super Advantage would be a good substitute. There is no version of pong on this cart.

Perhaps a Turbo Touch 360 might work?

Wow, that must be the ancestor to the "I'm a Mac/I'm a PC" commercials! lol Can't believe I hadn't seen that one before.

Centipede I've never found that playable without a track ball, but that's just because that's what I'm used to from the arcade machine. I have it for the 2600 but not happy with the joystick control of it.

Missle Command would be great with a mouse I would think, but never played it with one.

I've played Breakout style games with both mouse and a stylus (on DSi) but I feel I was better at them when using the paddle controller on the 2600.
