By looking at all known to exist Brazilian and Taiwanese cart list model numbers, there should be around 2.000 (mostly Brazilian and Taiwanese) titles left to add.

So IMO it's fair to say that the total VCS range of carts counts around 10.000 different cart releases.

Any idea how many different games there are?

(I guess we'd have to define "different"....)

That's amazing. You mean to tell me that out of the 10,000 titles believed to exist for the Atari 2600 that there are only 600 original games produced during the commercial lifetime of the system (1977-1992)? :-o

There was a heck of a lot of piracy and licencing going on in the 70s and 80s ;)
