The antic disks are at the link below in DCM format. You could use dcmtoatr.exe to convert them to ATR format.

http://www.atarimaga...e/software.html

Most if not all of the analog disks are at the link below.

ftp://ftp.pigwa.net/...ALOG/index.html

He also has atrs of Antic. Maybe complete, not sure.

I'm trying to bring back an old answer to Antic and ANALOG PDFs and ATRs.
Please excuse my lack of ability to bring it back.

Yes, there are torrents for Antic, ANALOG and 96 A8 books. I seeded them for quite a while,
but my grandkids needed the bandwidth. I was usually the only seed, I think.
You can Google the piratebay torrents. Here's a folder with the three torrent files.
The Antic was 9 gigs, ANALOG 7 gigs and Atari books, like 5 gigs, if I remember.
I just checked. Antic comes on three disks and ANALOG on two DVD disks and
96 books fit on on one DVD. A DVD-R holds about 4.7 gigs.
If you aren't familiar with torrents, you download a file sharing program, I use utorrent,
and then click on the torrent file and it will search it out and start downloading them.
It takes days to download 9, 7 and 5 gigs, then burn the files to DVDs, etc.
There's also Frank Kowatari (that is really his name) website with ANALOGs.
http://analog.katorlegaz.com has JPGs of every page of all 79 ANALOGs.
The torrents are PDFs and zipped .ATRs.
Atariage has posts by thumpnugget about PDFs and scans. I forget what else
he posted, probably about the torrents. Thumpnugget is the original person that
scanned the magazines to PDFs and dug up the accompanying disks.
Oh, I remember, Thumpnugget made DVDs of his work and presented them to
buy here. He did a professional job with his disks, nice labels on the disks, etc.
I don't think you can get his disks unless someone will make a copy for you.
Actually, Thumpnuggets PDFs and ATRs are what in the torrents.

You are not the only seeder but iirc someone from here created an updated torrent of the 96 books and added 39 more. This is the one I'm still seeding. It usually shows over 6 other seeds and multiple peers.

The ZIPped torrent-file -> Attached File  Atari 8-bit Books (torrent).zip   30.01K   39 downloads

@Fox-1 says someone added 39 books.

Yes, OK, I see a couple seeds, nobody downloading at the moment.

But about the 39 'new' books added, I checked about six of them, and all are repeats. Is there something wrong with the first De Re Atari, for instance?

3 Running uploads right now (1 from Hungary, 2 from the US).

Don't know about the 39 added ones. I didn't create the torrent :-)

I think this was actually the other way around first came the 39 books and the others were added later to make it 96 you should only need the 96 I think.

You seem to be right. There are only 96 PDF's in the torrent.

The antic disks are at the link below in DCM format. You could use dcmtoatr.exe to convert them to ATR format.

Is there a version of dcm2atr which runs in Windows Vista / 7

DCM2ATR is a command line tool. Need to use Command Prompt to open a command box and run it from there. It should work in Vista or Windows 7 32-BIT since it runs in XP but does not work in 64 BIT versions.

I have Windows 7 64 BIT so it doesn't work in it. But I have XP installed in VMWare and it works fine in Windows XP 32 bit so it should also work in Vista 32 bit.

Attached File  dcm2atr.zip   9.15K   8 downloads

Is there a version of dcm2atr which runs in Windows Vista / 7

DCM2ATR is a command line tool. Need to use Command Prompt to open a command box and run it from there. It should work in Vista or Windows 7 32-BIT since it runs in XP but does not work in 64 BIT versions.

I have Windows 7 64 BIT so it doesn't work in it. But I have XP installed in VMWare and it works fine in Windows XP 32 bit so it should also work in Vista 32 bit.

Attached File  dcm2atr.zip   9.15K   8 downloads

Thanks for the reply, I was able to run it on my XP box after I posted the question. Looks like a lot of the PC utilities for Atari 8 bit wont run under Win 7 64 bit.

I think DCM2ATR will work in DOSBox on a 64-bit Windows PC.
