Hey all.

Just curious: what's the deal with the Arcadia 2001? Are there people who collect it, or is it one of those obscure systems nobody really cares about?

Only reason I ask is that I was in a local video game shop last week that sells used games. While looking through their 2600 case, I noticed they had three Arcadia 2001 games (I forget which ones), and IIRC, they were all in boxes. It struck me as odd to see something like that there, and if they're something a collector would like, I can certainly let you know which store it was so you can give 'em a call or something.

I (and a few others) collect for it although it's not a very popular system. Then again neither was the Aquarius and look what's happened to it lately!

The value of the cart depends on the rarity though (as usual). Most Arcadia games are pretty common, but ther are 5 or 6 that are pretty rare since they were the last ones to be released. Common boxed Arcadia carts might go for $10-$15, but a rare one could go for $80-$100 to the right collector. Which titles were they? I'm still missing a few.

I don't remember which titles they were...I'll try to get over there in the next few days to check.

Stopped by the store this evening. The four games are Space Attack, Escape, Breakaway, and American Football. All in boxes, $2.99 each. Took a pic of them as well.

At $2.99 a piece they're worth picking up, but they're fairly common.
