Agreed. It's a fun game. I just wish it was more like the arcade version.

I need to get this game soon.I love Journey and I love Atari. This looks funny and really weird on the 2600. For some reason it reminds me of Back to the Future on NES the way it looks, but with better music.

I think a Pink Floyd game would be trippy.

Yea a Pink Floyd game would be awesome, especially if it's based on The Wall.

I always think a Black Sabbath game would be cool. Their music reminds me of the Atari 2600 lol.

They should have made a Residents game.

Oh wait, they did. But never completed it.

DAMN! :D

I definitely have to say that Journey Escape was a game I liked a lot. Then later on (long before TRON: Legacy), I discovered "Separate Ways".

"Break those chains that bind you"

I'm curious, did anyone play Journey music when they played the game.

Man this game was one of the biggest rip offs of the day. Peeww. Although it is one of the first games I ever recieved marketing material for when I was a kid (I think it came in one of my cartridge orders from a store). But whatever, of course as it's aged I've gotten a lot more accepting of it to the point I don't mind playing it now.

Can I give a -1 or a dislike to the video (but not to Trinity personaly) for ruining a good song?

LOL @ Glee.

Anyways I love Journey's early music, even the first 3 albums without Steve Perry. They weren't pop yet on the first album....

and here's some footage of the game....

I prefer to put that vid on mute and just watch the game. Looks trippy. Makes me think, what the hell were they smoking when they made it?? lol

It can be pretty easy to max out your score in the game. Bad as some people think of it, I still find it a good game to play in short bursts (then again< I also get mild enjoyment out of Pac-Man on the same system).

You know Journey had a different front man for a while. Some guy from the Philippines. He's actually fairly good.

Anyway, he's in his early 40s. I bet he played this game when he was growing up.

Don't stop believing, man.

I had this game as a kid. We bought it for $5 at the grocery store (all Data Age games were $5). It wasn't my favorite game but I thought it was fun. I definitely played it several times while Journey was playing on my stereo. I also bought a Bermuda Triangle at the same store (Owens) for $5 although it was a during a different grocery shopping trip.

Where are there Owens grocery stores? We had Data Age (and Apollo) offerings in a grocery store in Libertyville, IL. Eagle grocery store had 'em. That's where I got my copies of Bermuda Triangle, Journey, Space Chase and Infiltrate. Had 'em in these cardboard standup displays near the end caps. I don't remember them being as cheap as $5 though but I guess that's not out of the realm of possibilities. Probably was between $5-$10 now that I think about it since I had so many of *those* games. All of them are very cool though for what they are and were definitely worth the paltry sum they fetched.

Owens is a tiny chain in Northern Indiana. It's part of Kroger now but it was independent when I was a kid. The games were in a glass case at the service desk. It's possible that you had to have a qualifying purchase to buy one at $5. I know I got Journey Escape and Bermuda Triangle on two different occassions. I also had Sssnake but I think we got that at Kay-Bee clearance bin later. Sssnake really sssucked.
