You know, the ones with the color bars and stuff to adjust the tint, saturation, brightness, etc.?

Can you tell me what colors these bars are supposed to be? the interlaced colors I'm unsure about. The first color is supposed to be true red isn't it? I understand it looks better if you stand back.

A really good test is on the Atari diagnostic cartridge. It has both color and brightness settings that are very accurate and easy to adjust. The secret on the Atari colors is that the first color (1 not 0 - that's no color) and the last color (15) are the same. Throw them up on the screen and make them equal.

Thanks, I adjusted my monitor tint to match that nearly perfectly.

Hmm,

I have some screen-test programs in my collection, some (if not all) of them are also good for testing the colours... -Andreas Koch.
