Hello,

everyone...I am not sure if I´ve got a problem with this.

My Lynx has some sort of brighter vertical lines, they still work though. I´ve attached a picture.

Is the display starting to fail, or is it quite common with those old displays? Anyone here experiencing the same? Would it change something if I´d use new capacitors?

Thanks for answering.

Wolf

I have added another picture, where the effect is more obvious...

Hope anyone can shed any light on this.

Thanks,

My Lynx 1 has the same problem, it looks like this second picture where I guess about 1/3 of the screen area in the centre of the screen is slightly brighter. I hope someone knows a fix for it!

Mine does this to, its only really noticeable when there is a high contrast image, its extremely noticeable in Slime World, but never in things like Shanghai. I've been actually meaning to ask about this as well.

On my second Lynx I I am experiencing the same problem, it´s even more obvious there in comparison.

Is there a chance to fix that or make them go away? Has anyone tried replacing caps inside? Did it work?

To me it´s quite annoying watching this....
