Saw this on eBay and have never heard of it. Guy wants crazy money for it, but was wondering if anyone has seen one of these before. Any ideas on it's "actual" worth? Understanding that anything is worth what somoene is willing to pay for it that is. Just looking for more info on the machine and an indication of how "rare" it really is.

It's a Pong clone so it can't be too valuable IMHO. Even if it is amazingly rare, it is untested and without box, so I would say on the Pong market maybe $25-$30 at best.

Plus, there's no telling what condition it might arrive in, considering that it's made out of pure milk chocolate.

But seriously ... I just did a quick search on this unit, and the screenshots I've found would seem to indicate that it's built around the GI AY-3-8500 chip, or something similar. This is one of several dedicated "Pong clone" chips that were used in many such systems in the mid-1970s (I own one of them myself, an "S Four Thousand" by Radofin). They may have looked different on the outside, but they all played exactly the same games, so there's probably nothing particularly special about this one.

If it were tested and included at least the light gun, I would willing to give more (like $75) for it. It also has 4-player function, so that is a little less common as well. Nice, informative Wikipedia article on the pong chip!
