Anyone else playing the new KoF XIII? I gotta say, I think this thing just re-ignited my love of fighting games (which has atrophied over the years with every new 3d fighter with a guide the size of the phone book). It's like an apology for XII. The graphics are some of the most gorgeous hand drawn art ever seen in a game, it's easy to pick up and learn, and it's deeper than the pacific in terms of depth and mastery. Tons of content, tons of modes, lots of great characters... man, what a great game. It's just crazy amounts of fun. And it's only 40 bucks.

Truth be told I am loving this WAY more than the new Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom games. It's glorious.

Anyone else playing?

I want this, but I still can't get it locally here in Australia. Looks like I'll be getting it from the UK sometime soon, but I'm not in a rush.

I have always been a huge KOF fan. This game makes me forget the crap that was KOF XII. A 40 dollar steal in my opinion. Pick it up fighting fans!!!

Great to see a little more 2D fighting love this generation. I like Guilty Gear and by extension its spiritual successor BlazBlue, but it's great to see one of the old guard come back in 2D fighting form.
But I'm happy as long as we have no more rotoscoped motion-captured fighters! :P

I play rather the older fighters online in GGPO and Supercade
Also playing SFIV and occasionally BlazBlue but the older fighters are still the best.

Favourites are KOF98, Last Blade 2, Garou:MOTW, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Vampire Savior and SFIII:Third Strike

Of course I get my ass handed in online play there. Most players are experienced and can pull out combos and ultras out of nowhere. 1 win and 10 losses are usually the most natural outcome. I cant manage to cancel moves into specials, this requires precise and fast timing.
