For sale qty 8 various 10BaseT transceivers.
$5.00 each plus shipping, I can do $6.00 priority mail for all 8 (they should all fit in one small box)

Heh, I've been doing networking for over 12 years, and have never even needed to know what these are for. Found a box of them in a back room though!

They convert AUI to 10BaseT, some older hubs, or older network cards use these. I use one in my Amiga and some in 2500 Cisco routers.

yup, with an 850 interface and a lantronix UDS-10, you can actually get out in the world or run a bbs. unfortunately, those get a little expensive
