I recently picked up another CIB copy of Diner to upgrade the one I have, which has a pretty poor box. The second copy has an excellent box, but I noticed a couple of interesting differences. The second copy has no sticker on the front and a UPC on the bottom flap (left), while the original copy has a "New" sticker on the front and no UPC on the bottom flap (right). I'm guessing that the one on the right is the first release. I have other INTV Corp. games but none with duplicate copies. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to whether the "New" sticker is on a UPC or non-UPC box. Has this been everyone else's experience too?

my diner box has the bar code.

I was looking at my other INTV corps game and some have the bar code, some have the NEW sticker....it's a mix

Yep, mine are mixed too, doesn't seem to be a discernible pattern to it.

Should this small of a variation be documented?

These variations seem to never end...LOL

I'd think that the UPC code is a legit variation, and I'd still like to know which box was the earlier release. I think it's more difficult to consider the "New" sticker a variation since it appears on UPC and non-UPC boxes.

I think the UPC might be the earlier one strangely. It's the easier one to find.
